Neighborhood overview

The southern suburb of Mt. Lebanon has consistently been ranked as one of the best places to live around Pittsburgh, with excellent public schools and high rates of home ownership many families are happy to call this area home.

Three walkable business districts: Uptown, Beverly Road, and Galleria house most of the neighborhood's restaurants, boutiques, and shops. These areas create a vibrant business community throughout the suburb providing residents, and visitors, with both upscale shopping and the day to day necessities.

The community also provides its residents with a variety of recreation options including a golf course, clay tennis courts, ice rink, and public pool all housed within Mt. Lebanon.

Major Industries

St Clair hospital is the top employer in the community. A number of businesses supporting this medical institution and those employed there, also populate the area. The community is also home to many of the businesses that provide the day to day necessities for those living in the community.

ACCESSIBILITY & Parking

Rt 19 is the main thoroughfare in Mt. Lebanon running from North to South. No major road runs the East to West route through the suburb.

A majority of business have off-street parking lots making parking the the area a breeze.

The suburb is served by both the T and the bus lines into downtown making the suburb a viable option for those who work. and play in town but prefer to make their home outside the city.
